Patrick Squier

Biography

Patrick Squier is a native Houstonian, guitarist, and songwriter whose style stretches from bayou blues to gritty garage, with searing psychedelic sounds and melting melodies. Squier developed his sound in the Houston music scene, learning from locally renowned singer-songwriter Bill Cade and playing at historic venues like Anderson Faire, the Old Quarter, and the original Fitzgerald’s. From 2005-2008, Squier fronted The Soledad Sons who released one EP and one album and were invited to perform at the Westheimer Street Festival in 2006 and 2007. Squier honed his skills while living in the Pacific Northwest, playing up and down the west coast, and travelling through the UK, Europe, and South America. Currently, he fronts his own self-titled group and also plays with the collaborative band TRVNDLE. Squier is a recording artist at Syncworthy Studios and holds a monthly, performanced-based residency at the Richmond Arms Pub.
